 I was born 6/9/1973 and grew up in Martinsville VA. Saved at eleven and there has never been a time in my life where I was not in church. As with most, I have strayed from God but God has never given up on me.

 

Through the years, I sang at church but it was not until my mid to late twenties that I became involved with Southern Gospel music. The first group I traveled with was Gospel Land Quartet. I ran sound with them and filled in when others were out for one reason or another. I left the road with Gospel Land to take the music leader position at One Accord Baptist Church. During this time, I began to sing with my mother and sister in the Wells Trio.

 

About one year later, my brother joined us and we had a family quartet. As things go, Work moved me away and we stopped singing together. A couple of years later, I sang with a group from Mocksville NC called Risen Son Quartet. It broke my heart to leave this group because we had became really close friends. But, work once again pulled me to another state and I ended up here in Georgia where I now make my home in Dalton, GA.

 

My favorite music groups are The Cathedrals, Greater Vision, The Perrys, and my favorite vocalist has to be Gerald Wolfe. His versatility inspires me to work harder to sing better for God's glory.

 

My favorite song has to be "I Will Rise Up From the Grave" because it reminds me that I know for certain that my entire family will be with me in Heaven. Do you know that for certain? Will you be there too? Let me show you how you can know!
